What is GPS, in one line?¿Qué es GPS, en una línea?
An open, aggregated padel calendar with a single open ranking (OWPR), owned and governed by the association (GPA), that circuits, countries, clubs and events join without giving up their identity.

Do I lose control of my event or circuit?¿Pierdo el control de mi evento o circuito?
No. You keep your name, brand, sponsors, entries and community. GPS does not take entries, charge for them, or keep a parallel list of players.

What is a "franchise"?¿Qué es una "franquicia"?
At country (or regional) level, GPS works through a trusted local partner — the franchise — that builds and represents padel in the territory within GPS: it brings local clubs, organisers and events into the calendar and the ranking.

How are points decided?¿Cómo se deciden los puntos?
Each event declares its category and points before it is played. The open ranking (OWPR) then reads every event with the same published method — the same window, plateau and decay — so results from different circuits are comparable. Nothing is adjusted by hand. The method is public at owpr.org.

Who governs the rules?¿Quién gobierna las reglas?
GPA owns the GPS format and the OWPR brand and holds the authority to set and change the rules, under statutes where no single bloc holds half the vote. GPA regulates inward and cooperates outward; it does not sanction or homologate other people's competitions.

No. Prize money and entries stay with the organiser. GPS does not intermediate them.

Fees, if any, depend on the format and are being finalised. Event adhesion is typically light; franchise terms are set in the agreement.
